You Are My Childhood: Double Your Impact

In the heart of Leeds today, many children are growing up in vibrant inner-city communities — places full of life and promise. But these same communities are places where our children are growing up facing challenges that others don’t. 

Here, there are more foodbanks than Co Ops, life expectancy for our children is up to 8 years less than it is for children growing up not many miles away. Families live with daily struggles of poverty, crime, and isolation.

Our children live in areas where knife crime is all too common. For many children, this means growing up without the safety, opportunities, and support that every child deserves. 

At Kidz Klub Leeds, we’re here to change that.We believe every child deserves more than survival — they deserve joy, safety, and hope.

That’s why we’re here — week in, week out —consistently out on the ground in 16 communities bringing a message of hope, sharing life, spreading joy, walking through the tough times together and providing practical help to children and families across the city.

With the loving care and support of people like you, we can regularly visit 1000 children at home, run safe and joyful Klub sessions, and bring communities together through Play Streets and Family Support. We can develop Young Leaders and help the children to be the community changers- running their own community mission events.

We’re a consistent, caring presence in their lives — and we couldn’t do it without you.

This winter, your gift can go twice as far.Thanks to a generous £15,000 matched funding pledge from The Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation, every pound you give up to this target will be doubled until 31st December 2025.

£5→ £50: Help to bring a child to a Kidz Klub session where they feel safe, seen, and celebrated and where they hear a message of hope.

£50 → £100: Help to provide a home visit and dedicated follow up support to a family in crisis for as long as it is needed.
